How Your Donations Make a Difference
Extra Subsidies: Generous donations from compassionate individuals, businesses and municipalities allow us to go beyond the already reduced prices. These additional subsidies enable us to further lower the cost of procedures.
Community Support: When you contribute to our cause, you directly impact the lives of pets and their families. Your donations help us maintain our commitment to affordable care.
Transparency: We transparently communicate to our clients that their fees cover the discounted service provided by our skilled veterinarians, our subsidy, and any additional contributions from donors.
Volunteer Opportunities:
- Represent SNIA at outreach events chatting with visitors
- Administrative projects requiring computer skills
- Transportation driving animals to and from veterinarian clinics within Durham Region
- Board Members, must have a proven track record and passion for animals recognizing lack of spay/neuter and affordable veterinary access as the root cause of companion animal overpopulation, homelessness, abandonment, surrender and euthanasia due to municipal shelter over capacity challenges
