Our deepest gratitude goes to our dedicated community partner veterinarians, who show unwavering dedication to this cause. Their expertise and compassion ensure all animals receive the best possible care.
Our sincere thanks to individuals, businesses and municipalities, whose generous financial contributions reflect their acknowledgment of the urgent pet overpopulation crisis in our region. 100% of every dollar donated goes towards our Spay/Neuter program.
Mission Statement
Spay Neuter Initiatives Association is dedicated to promoting responsible pet guardianship and reducing the over population of companion animals through accessible and affordable spay and neutering services.
Our mission is to create a humane and sustainable community where every companion animal has the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life free from the challenges and dangers of overpopulation.
“Accessible is simply defined as available to as many pet guardians as possible. Accessible Spay/Neuter programs remove existing barriers to the availability of sterilization. Such programs include those that offer subsidized Spay/Neuter surgery, those that are high volume, high-quality clinics, and those that are able to bring clinics to the animals or vice versa.”
When Can I Spay or Neuter My Pet?
We can spay or neuter kittens around the five month marker, and puppies around six months of age. Sometimes vets like to wait until extra-large breeds (ie. St.Bernards, Great Danes, etc) are eight to twelve months old. Sometimes, earlier spays or neuters are the better option to prevent litters. Please fill out an application and we can assist you!
