“Accessible is simply defined as available to as many pet guardians as possible. Accessible Spay/Neuter programs remove existing barriers to the availability of sterilization. Such programs include those that offer subsidized Spay/Neuter surgery, those that are high volume, high-quality clinics, and those that are able to bring clinics to the animals or vice versa.”

When Can I Spay or Neuter My Pet?

We can spay or neuter kittens around the five month marker, and puppies around six months of age. Sometimes vets like to wait until extra-large breeds (ie. St.Bernards, Great Danes, etc) are eight to twelve months old. Sometimes, earlier spays or neuters are the better option to prevent litters. Please fill out an application and we can assist you!

💔 Please help us with Tucker's Final Gift 🌈 This handsome boy is Tucker. At 9 years old, Tucker found himself facing a medical battle that no one expected. When his owner reached out for help, SNIA stepped in to assist with veterinary care. Thanks to the compassion of the team at King Hopkins Pet Hospital , Tucker received treatment and every opportunity to heal. But despite everyone's best efforts, Tucker's condition worsened. His veterinary team ultimately suspected an underlying cancer, and the kindest decision became the hardest one.Tucker was surrounded by love when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Now, his family faces one final hurdle & humility: the cost of saying goodbye. Many of the families SNIA helps live on very limited incomes. They love their pets deeply, but when a medical crisis or end-of-life situation arises, the financial burden can be overwhelming. We believe every pet deserves comfort, dignity, and a peaceful farewell. We also believe no family should have to face that journey alone.Today, we're asking for your help. 💙Your donation will help cover Tucker's cremation and support SNIA's Emergency and End-of-Life Fund so we can continue helping families through some of the most difficult moments they will ever experience.Because keeping families together sometimes means helping them say goodbye with love. 🌈 ❤️ Rest easy, Tucker. You were deeply loved and will never be forgotten.Donate here: www.canadahelps.org/en/charities/spay-neuter-initiatives-association/#ForTheLoveOfPets #KeepFamiliesTogether #SNIA #RainbowBridge #PetLossSupport #CommunityHelpingCommunity #AnimalWelfare #CompassionInAction ...
